Client Feedback
Leyla was hand-picked to be on the EIS team to rework the fisheries analysis and reengage with the stakeholders and agencies after the Preliminary Draft EIS fisheries analysis was questioned and challenged. Leyla was able to assess and describe impacts to fish and aquatic resources and get buy-in from agencies, stakeholders, and the public quickly. She could speak technically with agency staff who wanted scientific details, and also in plain language to the public. Her ability to bridge the science and regulatory environments was invaluable to the team and helped us turn the project from being publically contentious to being lauded as an example project of how the public process should work.

regarding Leyla's work on the Kodiak Airport EIS as the lead Fisheries Biologist
Ms. Arsan is a highly competent individual, a clear communicator, and a valuable collaborator in multidisciplinary teams. Given the opportunity, I would not hesitate to hire her again.
